Plastic Flat Nine-Leg Pallet

High-quality plastic material gives it good elasticity and toughness. When subjected to a certain degree of impact, it can absorb part of the impact force through its own deformation, thereby reducing damage to the pallet structure. For example, during cargo loading and unloading, occasional collisions or drops generally do not cause serious damage to the plastic flat nine-leg pallet.

Some plastic flat nine-leg pallets made of modified plastics or reinforced with fibers have even more outstanding impact resistance. They can withstand greater impacts, such as resisting the impact of forklift tines and the force from placing goods during frequent forklift handling operations, making them less prone to cracking or breaking.

However, impact resistance has its limits. Under extreme impacts, such as heavy objects falling from a height, or in low-temperature environments (where plastic becomes brittle), its impact resistance significantly decreases, potentially leading to cracking or severe deformation.

Wooden Flat Nine-Leg Pallet

Wood itself has a certain fibrous structure, allowing it to withstand some impact force to a certain extent. However, compared to plastic and metal materials, wood has relatively poor impact resistance. When subjected to impact, due to the uneven texture and quality of wood, cracks are prone to occur at weak points such as grain intersections or near knots.

Wooden flat nine-leg pallets can generally withstand light impacts during daily handling and loading/unloading. However, if subjected to stronger impacts, such as improper forklift operation causing violent collisions with hard objects, or uneven weight distribution of goods leading to significant shaking and impact during transportation, wooden pallets are prone to corner damage, board breakage, and other issues.

Additionally, if wooden flat nine-leg pallets are exposed to humid environments for extended periods, the strength of the wood decreases, further affecting their impact resistance.

Steel Flat Nine-Leg Pallet

Steel material is characterized by high strength and hardness, giving steel pallets strong impact resistance. When subjected to significant impact forces, steel pallets can maintain good structural integrity and are less likely to undergo noticeable deformation. For example, in industrial production, even if heavy objects accidentally fall onto a steel flat nine-leg pallet, it can withstand the impact without serious damage.

Steel pallets demonstrate excellent impact resistance in scenarios such as frequent forklift operations, cargo handling, and bumps and collisions during transportation. Their sturdy structure effectively disperses impact forces, reducing damage to the overall pallet structure.

However, although steel pallets have strong impact resistance, long-term exposure to repeated high-intensity impacts may lead to fatigue damage, causing localized cracks or deformation. Moreover, once a steel pallet is damaged by impact, repairs are relatively difficult.
